Description: The manufacturer Neotec has announced the end-of-life (EOL) of the NT7108T and NT7107C drivers used in the Winstar WG12864 and WG19264 display families.

Affected families:

Neotec has released the NT7108T2 and NT7107T2 versions as compatible alternatives to improve supply stability.

Implementation schedule: Winstar will continue to use the current drivers until existing stock is depleted and in any case until all orders already confirmed as of today have been delivered. For new scheduled orders starting from Q3 2026, only the new drivers will be used.

The new drivers are proposed as a compatible alternative to the previous versions. Therefore, if the driving software has been developed in compliance with the specified timing windows, replacing the previous display with the new version should not result in anomalies or functional issues.
However, FIRST Components and Winstar recommend performing tests on representative samples before proceeding with the final validation of the new product. You are therefore invited to contact FIRST Components to check the availability of samples for the product of your interest.
