FIRST Components is pleased to announce REYAX Technology's new RYUW122, a UART Interface Ultra-wideband (UWB) antenna transceiver module.
Allowing object position tracking with a 10 cm-level accuracy, the RYUW122 is suitable to implement Real-Time Localization Systems (RTLS). The module is also widely used in precise indoor positioning applications, 3D positioning and precise distance measurement.
The RYUW122 supports IEEE802.15.4-2015 UWB and IEEE802.15.4z (BPRF mode) in addition to UWB Channels 5 (6489.6 MHz) and 9 (7987.2 MHz) that meet worldwide UWB radio regulatory compliance. Thanks to an extremely small form factor and integrated antenna design, RYUW122 is suitable for size sensitive applications and helps to reduce development costs.

RYUW122 Features complete firmware integration and can be controlled easily by AT command also providing excellent performance in both data encryption and data transmission stability.
In order to speed up time to market, REYAX also provides RYUW122_Lite which is a testing kit version equipped with a breakout board. The DIP pins design helps designers to easily evaluate the module’s performance saving time and effort.
